This summer, one of our city’s best-loved museums is kicking off celebrations for its 150th anniversary. Join Weston Park Museum for its WPM 150 series of eye-opening, joy-filled exhibitions, events and activities.
Sheffield's first public museum, Weston Park Museum opened in 1875. In the many years since, the original building has been replaced and the museum and its art galleries redeveloped. The museum even survived significant bomb damage during the Sheffield Blitz in 1940. Over the decades it's welcomed people in their millions.
Join Sheffield Museums to mark Weston Park Museum’s milestone anniversary with a summer of family activities and a new trail, culminating in a big birthday party in September and followed by further events in autumn and winter.
