While the device grants eternal life to its host, it also causes an unquenchable thirst for human blood.

Released in 1992, the Cannes prize-winning debut feature from director Guillermo del Toro (Pan's Labyrinth, The Shape of Water) delivers a unique take on the classic vampire story, and offers a taste of the greatness that was to come in later films.
