Join Memory Dance for their third exhibition in their Chapel Walk space: celebration of iconic photographer and filmmaker (and our old friend and contributor) Shaun Bloodworth.

A retrospective of the Sheffield-based photographer and filmmaker Shaun Bloodworth. With rare prints, little-seen images, record sleeves and documentaries from the world of the early Dubstep scene, electronic music, landscape photography, industrial Sheffield, night-time London and beyond. Shaun left us in 2016, too young. We celebrate his legacy here.

Shaun Bloodworth started his career as an editorial photographer in 1989. His work took him to war in the Balkans, kayaking around the Queen Charlotte Islands, and to the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster in Ukraine. But he is perhaps most well-known for his photographs of underground electronic music figures and events, which began with the early years of London’s dubstep scene, collaborating with the likes of Rinse, FWD>>, Bleep and Tempa. His iconic portraits captured a generation, shot with an inimitable compositional eye.
