Sheffield Chamber Music Festival

Fri. 16 May 2025 — Sat. 24 May 2025

Tanya Moiseiwitsch Playhouse

£5–22 per event

Sheffield Chamber Music Festival returns to the Crucible's intimate Playhouse theatre in spring 2025. Nine days of intimate and inviting classical music performances for all ages, organised by Music in the Round.

In 2025, the festival is celebrating 20 years with its resident musicians Ensemble 360, this year's guest curators.

They’ll open the festival with Schubert’s Octet and will continue to share some of chamber music’s best known and loved works throughout.

Guest performers include the Elias String Quartet, multi-award-winning sitar player Jasdeep Singh Degun, and the world’s premier solo percussionist Dame Evelyn Glennie.

As well as its main venue of the Crucible Playhouse, this year's festival will also take place at the Crucible's main stage, Firth Hall, and the Samuel Worth Chapel within Sheffield General Cemetery.
