Inspired by Abi Palmer’s exhibition Slime Mother at Site Gallery, this special double bill explores how slugs and slime can represent care, transformation, and the unexpected ways we connect with the world around us!
We’ll begin with Sophie Koko Gate’s Slug Life (2018), an irreverent, award-winning animated short about creation, companionship, and the slippery joy of slugs.
This will be followed by Juan Piquer Simón’s cult horror Slugs (1988), where mutated, flesh-eating molluscs terrorise a small town – with gooey ’80s effects!
Refreshments from a donations bar will be available.
