The Surfer

Mon. 5 May 2025 — Thu. 15 May 2025

A father returns to the idyllic beach of his childhood hometown in Australia, to surf with his son, after many years away living his life in the U.S.

But upon his arrival, he is humiliated by a group of locals, and drawn into a conflict that rises with the heat of summer. Escalating beyond any sense of control, he is pushed to his breaking point.

This psychological thriller from director Lorcan Finnegan (Vivarium), sees a return of the "Cage Rage" delivered in films such as 2018's Mandy.
