Emerging in Texas in 2007, White Denim took influence from psychedelic rock, punk, funk, jazz, blues and prog rock, fashioning a sound of their own that became synonymous with hard hitting guitar riffs and frenetic energy.
Since then, they’ve continued to ingest sounds and styles from the wide world of music over the course of their twelve studio albums. Their 2024 record, 12, showcases their kaleidoscopic approach to sound with an inventive mix of 1970s soft rock, soul and pop played in the band’s own off-kilter style.
Described as “one of the most dynamic rock bands to emerge this millennium”, live they’re often as fun and unpredictable as they sound on record.
