At the centre of the independent-spirited Devonshire Quarter, Bungalows and Bears is an old fire station turned roomy bar. It specialises in lively gigs, jazz nights and DJ sets, which you can usually enjoy free of charge, and also puts on the occasional video game night.

Bungalows is also good for elaborate burgers.
