With its dimmed lighting and calm atmosphere, stepping into CollardManson feels a bit like visiting a museum. Instead of ancient vases or taxidermy, though, it's glistening jewellery and finery for the home that's on display here.
CollardManson is run with a keen sense of style by owners who know what they like when it comes to clothes and accessories. The vibe is romantic, glamourous and a bit gothy.
Artfully laid out on the vintage tables, you'll find anything from Vivienne Westwood pendants to CollardManson's own line of silver jewellery. The clothes rack features the shop's own creations alongside those from select designers. And the in-house range of tooled leather bags – designed in Sheffield; made in London from the finest Italian leather, and sold around the world – are intricate and beautiful objects.
We find it very hard to resist paying a visit to CollardManson whenever we're in the Devonshire Quarter area.
