Jameson's is so well established at the heart of the Antiques Quarter that you'd be forgiven for thinking it's been there a couple of decades, instead of just a few years.
With its sparkly chandeliers, linen tablecloths and a fabulous spread of sticky buns, enormous scones and lovely homemade cakes this traditional and gorgeous family-run tea room is our go-to place when we’re craving something sweet. And it's the ideal spot to sit back and admire your haul from the nearby antiques shops, sipping from vintage china and eating cake off of decorative old plates as you do so.
Portions are extremely generous, and sponge puddings come with lashings of custard, cream or ice cream so ensure your waistband can take it. It's not just sweet stuff though, they serve lovely breakfasts and lunch too – try the coddled eggs.
