Since opening Juno in autumn 2022, friends Rosie and Sarah have created a welcoming feminist and queer space in the heart of the city. The passion they put into Juno is clear when you walk through the door – it’ll take you all of two minutes to fall in love with the variety of books here.
The two came up with their dream bookshop over wine in Sarah’s garden in the midst of lockdown. It’d be one that centres women and marginalised voices, “where people feel reflected and represented when they come in.” They’ve turned their dream into a reality on cosy Chapel Walk.
