Our Cow Molly is a game-changer.
An independent ice cream parlour on a working family farm in the gilded lands of Dungworth, close to the city's boundary with the Peak District, this place is the real deal. The Andrew family have run their dairy farm since 1947 but business took off on a huge scale in 2007 when they launched Our Cow Molly ice cream. Our Cow Molly makes its ice cream from fresh milk and cream from the farm, and is a leading Sheffield food producer and local success story. Today the on-site ice cream parlour is the only place to sample all flavours – and with thirty flavours to choose from, the hardest decision you'll need to make is whether to plump for Ferrero Rocher or jam roly poly.
Say hello to the calves, lambs and hens too and make a day of it with a walk, run or bike ride round nearby Damflask reservoir. Look out for the farm's annual open day too, when you can head out on a behind-the-scenes tour and enjoy a barbecue and bar (the next open day is Sunday 9th June 2019, 11am-5pm).
