Soft Ground is a space for creativity and community on The Moor in Sheffield city centre.
Arts organisation Arts Catalyst set up the space, and they share it with other local creative and community folk, including Chol Theatre & Arts, Migration Matters Festival and Sheffield Community Bike Project. Together, they've taken up temporary residence in this unit on the first floor of a building, among the bustle of shops on The Moor.
The aim is for Soft Ground to be an affordable, communal resource for artists, cultural producers, communities, groups and members of the public. It's a place for people to meet, learn and socialise with each other, through workshops, events and exhibitions.

Soft Ground has lift access and a disabled toilet. Open during exhibitions, Wednesday–Saturday 12–6pm.
