Street Food Chef only came into our lives in 2011. How did we ever live without its fast and ferociously tasty Mexican food?

Choose between burritos groaning with tender pulled pork, spicy beans, crisp salad and cool sour cream; or crunchy tacos bursting with chicken mole, coriander and zingy salsa. Not forgetting salty nachos oozing glossy green guacamole, jalapeno chillis, salsa, and a slick of Monterey Jack cheese.

The cantina's long opening hours make it a marvel of convenience – equally good for a hangover-curing breakfast burrito as for a pre-theatre empanada. Sip on a bottle of Desperados tequila beer or a fruity Jarritos with your meal, and leave room for dessert: the churros are a treat.

As well as the Arundel Street cantina, the Chef has a takeaway burrito bar on Pinstone Street, as well as places on Sharrow Vale Road and near Sheffield University on Glossop Road, and also now delivers.
