The Vaudevillians is a darkly comic cabaret created by Les Enfants Terribles, blending Victorian melodrama, music hall, and twisted fairytale storytelling. Set in a grotesque, tongue-in-cheek underworld, the show introduces a rogues’ gallery of flamboyant villains who gleefully celebrate wickedness, manipulation, and moral corruption.
Through surreal vignettes, songs, sketches, sharp physical comedy and a stylised gothic aesthetic, the production blurs the line between comedy and menace. These exaggerated characters invite the audience to laugh at (and occasionally sympathise with) their schemes and failures — resulting in a fast-paced, visually striking cabaret experience that is mischievous, macabre, and unapologetically theatrical.
